Our Crops:   Policies & Frequently Asked Questions

Get Croppin' understands that sometimes unforeseen events occur and you may have to cancel your registration, Get Croppin' has to plan and pay for each and every person that registers for our events. Our event venues require certain deposits and information from us to properly plan for this occasion. In the event that you have to cancel your registration Get Croppin' allows cancellations for your reserved spot as follows:

  • Up to 21 days prior to the event - Refund less a $30 cancellation fee
  • 7-20 days prior to the event - Refund less a $40 cancellation fee
  • 1-6 days prior to the event - No Refunds
  • There are no refunds for "No Shows." You will be considered a "No Show" if you do not attend the event and do not notify Get Croppin' prior to the event.
  • There is NO REFUND for classes, should you not be able to attend, you may request that your class kit be mailed to you (for a $5 mailling fee), or transfer your class spot to another attendee. All sold classes must be sold for the exact amount paid, and all transfers need to be reported to Get Croppin, prior to the start of the event. Admission will be refused to anyone who is not listed on the class attendance.

Should you not be able to attend our event you may "sell" or "transfer" your spot to someone else. This transaction should be done on your own, we do not "find" someone to take your spot or assume any responsibility for this. If we have a "waiting list" for your event, we can assist. Once you have found someone to take your spot you must contact Get Croppin' and provide us will all the contact information for this person. If a person is not on our register list on the day of the event, they will not be allowed in. Any monetary transaction that occurs if your sell or transfer your spot is your responsibility.

1. What are your event hours?

Get Croppin' events usually start at 8am and run till midnight, this is dependent on each event and location. See specific crop for details.

2. Do I have to arrive at the start of the crop?

No, once your spot is paid for in full you may arrive at any time during the crop hours, your spot is guaranteed for the entire event.

3. How much stuff can I bring to work on?

Feel free to bring as much as you see necessary and can keep to your croppin'area. Believe us, we've seen it all, some croppers even bring small shelves.

4. Can my family come visit me during the event?

We don't have a problem with family coming to say hello for a few minutes, we do ask for you to consider those around you. We do ask that they do not stay an extended amount of time as it may bother other scrappers. If you have small children they must be with an adult at all times and should not be allowed to run or roam around the rooms unsupervised, this is for their own safety. Get Croppin' is not responsible for an inquiries substained during the event.

5. I'm breastfeeding and need to have my newborn baby attend?

Please contact Get Croppin' directly at info@getcroppin.com should this be a situation. Get Croppin' will do their best to accommodate your wishes while maintaining everyone else's scrappin' time unaffected.

6. Can I leave the event once I'm there?

Yes, feel free to come and go as you want, just be sure to have your name tag to re-enter the event.

7. Can I leave my stuff on the table?

Yes, you may leave your stuff on the table. Please use your own best judgment on what you will leave. Get Croppin' is not responsible for items left. If you are attending an overnight crop, Get Croppin' will "lock" up the doors for the night.

8. I am arriving late, do you provide a discount?

We do not offer discounts to half day or late arrives, as to we reserve only one spot per cropper area. We do not "double sell" a spot.

9. I need to cancel my reservation ...

Refer to the cancellation policies for rules/refunds/ or transfers.

10. I want to come with friends ...

With Get Croppin's unique table configurations seating with friends is easy. When you register for one of our events please let us know if you are attending with a group of people that wish to sit together. We reserve table space in either 8 or 12 person tables (depending on location).

11. What do you have to use in the Tool Center?

Tons and tons of the latest tools! Sizzix machines, over 100 dies, alphabets, Sizzixlets alphabets and shapes, Quickutz alphabets and dies, sewing machine, trimmers, idea books, and we add more for each event! We are committed to providing you with the latest die cuts and alphabets on the market!

12. I don't know anyone, will I feel uncomfortable?

Don't worry about attending a of our crops alone, everyone is friendly and happy to make new friends. Let us know you'll be there on your own and we will be sure to sit you with some scrappers that you will have a great time with!

13. What vendors do you have at your crops?

Get Croppin' offers a variety of vendors at our crops please see each individual crop for vendors scheduled to that event.

14. I am a vendor, interesting in having space at an event ...

Event Policies

  • No children under 14 years of age
  • Children 14 or over are welcomed at our events, however, they must also have a paid registration and be accompanied by a paying adult during the entire event.
  • Infants, (this is a hard one) ... we ask that infants not be brought into the crop room, other then periodical breastfeeding and or visits. Please understand that we are mothers too, and understand ... but others pay to "get away" and its unfair that everyone can't bring their children. We will provide and closed area for breastfeedings, but we must be notified in advance to prepare.
  • No open containers of drinks
  • No smoking at the event facility
  • No spouses, screaming kids, stress, laundry, cooking….
  • Get Croppin' is not responsible for items and personal belongings left at your table.

Should you need to cancel and there be any refunds due they will be applied to the same credit card used to purchase the registration, if you paid by check, you will receive a check refund in return.

No refunds will be issued due to perceived quality of an event, natural disasters, national emergencies, Acts of God, unless the entire event is cancelled. If an event needs to be canceled due to emergency (extreme weather, major earth quake, Act of God) no penalty fees will occur and the event will be rescheduled for a later date.

Get Croppin' reserves the right to cancel any event and is not responsible for any lodging or travel expenses incurred. Should an event be cancelled and will not be rescheduled all money will be returned to attendants promptly. Get Croppin' will do everything possible to reschedule an event.

Get Croppin' is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by any attendees or vendors to our events

Get Croppin' will provide information regarding hotels in the area and a reduced rate on blocked rooms (depending on location) for those who wish to spend the night. All reservations and business transactions done with the hotels are at the discretion and responsibility of the scrapper. Get Croppin' is not responsible for any lodging expenses.
